NSC Boxing Show At Patchway

We host our next show on Thursday the 20th of November at Patchway Sports Centre, Hempton Lane, BS32 4AJ. Weigh in 6:30 till 7:30 first bell 8pm.

If you require tickets £10 over 16?s £5 under 16?s please see me.

This is a big venue with big show costs so we all need to sell tickets, so if you can help sell some that would be great. It costs the club approx £100 per bout!!

I have nearly all available NSC boxers matched, hoping for 14 NSC boxers on & 15 bouts.

We need help to set up, put chairs out etc so if there?s any boxers families that can help out before the show, it would be extremely welcome. I?ll be there from 4pm.

Many thanks to everybody that supported our last show at Pill, we had some great results and performances from all the boxers, they where as always a credit to themselves and the club. We made £1,000 for the club also.

Gym Shut Friday 21st

As most will have boxed Thursday and I?m booked in to baby-sit, the gym will be shut Friday 21st Nov.

Other NSC Boxing Results

NSC senior welterweight Garry Low after boxing twice on the same night and winning both the other weekend at Cinderford is now a Northern Division Champ and boxes this Thursday at Torquay in the Western Counties Finals. Jerry Connors boxed at Swindon last Friday and boxed very well and won unanimous. Korey Robertson went all the way to Weymouth Saturday with NSC coach Lee Cummings and boxed in a skills bout as the other kid was a bit heavier than originally matched at, well done Korey first away bout under your belt and a great performance also.

New Gym Build Progress Report

The steel shell is complete, spray insulation complete, internal block walls, should be complete this week, electrician and flooring contractors are lined up, so we might be in training by the New Year. Many thanks to everybody that helped us get this far, without your time and help we couldn?t have done it. A fantastic team effort from all at the club.
