Also I would like to present Andy Buftan with a winners boxing trophy, for all the effort he’s put in helping us complete the gym and helping coaching, a victory eluded him in the boxing ring due to some over zealous matching on my part, but to me he’s a winner.
The last award is the best boxer of the year award, who will receive the Andy Mogg Memorial Cup Best Boxer Award. I was lucky to be Andy’s boxing Coach.
Andy boxed for the club on many shows and was renowned for his fitness, gameness and sportsmanship. He travelled to Cuba with the club in 2006 and I’ll always remember Andy sat outside Hotel Inglaterra with a glass of coke in his hand and a big smile on his face.

Like Andy this young boxer, is relentless in the gym, gives 100% and is a very skilful boxer, the winner of this years best boxer award is Jerry Connors.
